Question: If I apply for an auto loan, will that hurt my credit score?
Your credit report will show auto finance inquiries. Your crecit score may not be effected because the reporting agencies recognize that when people shop for auto loans they often have multiple auto loan inquiries. Knowing this they have developed processes that identify these inquiries on a rolling 14 day period and that multiple auto inquires count as one inquiry.
